A passionate VET practitioner, Lauren is most passionate about creating lifelong learners through the creation of great assessors and great assessment. “Assessment can be a real joy, creating a beautiful dessert, delivering a well-structured presentation to your team, building something with your own hands, creating a connection or providing a service to a fellow human being. Assessment is supposed to be that moment where all the training comes together and the student realises, oh yeah, I can do this! I got this!”

Louise Sharp
Senior Curriculum Developer
Louise lives in Perth Western Australia, sharing her life with a husband, two children and two dogs. Louise loves going on holidays and spending time outside. Louise has been working within the training industry for over 20 years, starting as a retail and business Trainer & Assessor and then working her way into a variety of different fields as a trainer.
“In my years as a trainer, I have had extensive experience working with training resources, I create all of my resources with practical application in mind and when developing resources, I ensure to create compliant, trainer-friendly material, that a trainer will appreciate. In my opinion, if a trainer does not respect or enjoy the resources then both the student and trainer are not going to get the most out of the training. This is particularly important to me.”
